Research methodology

From primary source
to public evidence.

Every visible record passes a documented chain of collection, verification and editorial approval.

Core principles

01

Official first

Government portals, official transcripts and institutional documents are prioritised. Each record retains its source URL and location.

02

Original preserved

The source-language quotation remains the canonical evidence. Translations are stored separately and can be verified independently.

03

Context attached

Speaker, office, event, date and surrounding context travel with the statement so isolated words are not mistaken for a position.

04

Review before reach

Collected and analysed records remain private. Anonymous routes expose only evidence explicitly marked PUBLISHED.

Publication workflow

A deliberate evidence chain

  1. Collect

Discover official material and capture immutable source metadata.

  2. Extract

Identify statement boundaries, exact quotations and topic signals.

  3. Verify

Confirm attribution, language, date, context and source quality.

  4. Approve

A staff reviewer records the decision and any editorial notes.

  5. Publish

The record becomes available through the restricted public API.
